The organizers of Incentive Canada, an event by the Canadian Tourism Commission which promotes Canada as a meetings, incentive and conferences destination, needed a custom event management platform to streamline their event-booking process. Mesh created a custom application with a small public-facing website and a larger administrative back end, allowing the event organizers to manage complex bookings with suppliers and buyers with ease for themselves.
The password-protected public-facing website was used to collect data from the buyers through a customizable registration module and to complete profiles. The back end included a voting system that allowed the event committee to collaborate in a decentralized fashion to vet and approve participants based on their profile. Approved participants, in turn, were then able to use the public-facing website to select suppliers for one-on-one meetings and create personalized event timetables.
In addition, organizers were able to maintain buyer and supplier profiles and create personal schedules for each and every participant in the event through the administration panel.
